DESIGN WORKS CUSTOM PAINTING is having a contest for the Best Postcard Idea to introduce our Exterior Painting Division.

RULES:
1. All postcards must be received between 12 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2015, and 11:59 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015.Participants must also be at least eighteen (18) years of age. If you do not meet any of these requirements, or any other eligibility requirements in these official rules, then you are not eligible to participate in this contest.
2. Postcards are to be scanned and emailed to [email protected] attention Marlene Lopez. The Superintendent, George Lopez, the President, Charles Earnest and myself will be making the final decision on 12 p. m. Friday, April 3, 2015. The winner of the contest will win a $100 Target Gift Card.
3. Each participant may submit a maximum of three (3) postcards. Any postcard received after the limit is reached will be disqualified.
4. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number and quality of eligible entries received.
5. By entering this contest, you warrant and represent that all postcards you submit are your own original work, do not infringe upon any copyright, invade any right of privacy, contain any defamatory, libelous or slanderous material, or violate any other right of any person or entity, and are not otherwise contrary to law.
6. You agree that it is your sole responsibility to obtain all permissions necessary for the grant of the rights. You also agree, as a condition of being awarded any prize in the contest, to take, at DWCP, INC.’S request, any further action (including, without limitation, execution of assignments, transfers, affidavits and other documents) reasonably necessary, as requested by DWCP, INC., to effect, perfect, or confirm DWCP, INC.’s rights in and to your postcard or other rights granted in these rules.
7. You further grant DWCP, INC. the right to use information that you provide as part of your submission, including your name, city, state/territory and contact information for the following purposes: 1) Contact information will only be used to notify you in the event that you are selected a finalist for this contest.
8. No Confidentiality. Photographs submitted to DWCP, INC. will not be treated as confidential, and by entering this contest and submitting postcards, you represent and warrant that the photographs do not include or disclose any trade secrets, proprietary information or other confidential information.
9. General Release. By entering the contest, you release and hold harmless the DWCP, INC. from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, cost, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the contest or delivery, mis-delivery, acceptance, possession, use of or inability to use any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory.
10. This contest is open to the public. DWCP, INC. employees are not eligible to participate in this contest.
