DWCP, Inc. recognizes the severe shortage of affordable housing in Southern Nevada, where more than 6,500 homeless individuals are seeking shelter each day. This year, over 16,000 residents of Southern Nevada will experience homelessness
According to the 2023 Southern Nevada Homeless Census, there has been a notable rise in the number of people without housing in the area. The 2024 Point-in-Time Count revealed 7,906 unhoused individuals, marking a 20% increase from 2023 and a 36% rise from 2022.
The state’s homelessness and housing crisis has reached critical levels. In response, we have partnered with Cookies & Goodwill, Inc., a local non-profit organization, to proudly sponsor initiatives that provide essential support to the homeless community.
